What roles does Lead Opal come with?

Owner, Admin, Sales Rep, Marketing and Viewer. Each has default permissions suited to that job, which an owner or admin can adjust.

Can a sales rep see other reps leads?

By default a rep sees the leads assigned to them. Managers and admins see the whole team. You can adjust this per role.

Can I give someone read-only access?

Yes. The Viewer role can see dashboards and records but cannot change data, which suits owners, accountants or advisors who just need visibility.

Who can access billing and settings?

Billing, plan and workspace settings are limited to Owner and Admin roles by default, so a new rep cannot change your subscription or export everything.

Is my data kept apart from other businesses on Lead Opal?

Yes. Every table is scoped to your tenant with row-level security, so a query can only ever return your own data. There is no shared view across businesses.

Can I change what a role is allowed to do?

Yes. Permissions are set per module, so you can widen or narrow what Marketing or Sales Rep can reach without inventing a new role.
